BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

All bookings are subject to the Sorcerer Lodge Waiver.

The Sorcerer Lodge Waiver includes a release of liability, waiver of claims and indemnity agreement, and is provided in full during the trip registration process.  All individuals participating in a trip must agree to the Waiver during the trip registration process, and must sign a paper copy of the Waiver at the pre-trip meeting.  Sorcerer Lodge, at our sole discretion, reserves the right to amend the Waiver at any time.

Pricing varies by date and type of the trip.  Refer to the Bookings page to view the price options that apply for your trip.

Winter Ski Trips

WINTER SKI TRIPS

Non-refundable Price Option

This trip pricing option is intended for those who are 100% committed to skiing with us next season.  Nothing is going to stop you.  You should be comfortable with the risk that you may become injured, or that life circumstances could change.  It is also important that you have explicitly considered the potential that travel restrictions or requirements in either Canada or your home country could impact your holiday.  You have also obtained coverage under a reliable and generous trip cancellation insurance policy (“Cancel For Any Reason” type policies are highly recommended).

  1. All reservations and bookings are specific to the individual(s) named at the time of booking and are non-transferable.
  2. All payments made are non-refundable.
  3. The full trip price is due at the time of booking, and payment must be received to confirm your reservation.
  4. Guest bedrooms accommodate up to three people. Guests are encouraged to book with a trusted friend or partner. Single participants will be required to share a room with other participants.
  5. If, ahead of the start date of a trip, Sorcerer Lodge cancels, decides not to operate, or is unable to operate the trip you are booked to participate in, you will be offered a full refund or credit.
  6. If, on or after the start date of a trip, circumstances arise which require Sorcerer Lodge to temporarily close or otherwise cease operating a trip that you are participant on, no refunds or credits will be offered.

A variety of things could happen that might prevent you from coming on your trip. These could include, but are not limited to:  illness, injury, family circumstances, travel issues/mishaps, or government imposed travel restrictions. Sorcerer Lodge will not be liable for these, or any other circumstances that may prevent you attending a trip that we operate.

Installment Price Option

This pricing option is for you if you are at all unsure about your ability to attend the trip, or are having difficulty obtaining a relevant trip cancellation insurance policy. This pricing option makes you eligible for a partial refund, right up to the week ahead of the trip.

  1. All reservations and bookings are specific to the individual(s) named at the time of booking, and are non-transferable.
  2. A booking deposit of $1,800 CAD per space is due when you make your reservation.
  3. The balance of your trip price is due 90 days ahead of the trip start date. Late payment of the balance due will result in forfeiture of your space.
  4. If a participant wishes to cancel a booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to info@sorcererlodge.com. Written notice of cancellation entitles the participant to a refund or credit according to these terms.
  5. All refunds or credits offered are subject to a $500 administration fee. The administration fee will be applied per space refunded or credited.
  6. Notice of cancellation, received in writing, more than 3 weeks in advance of the trip start date entitle the participant to a full refund or credit, less the administration fee.
  7. Notice of cancellation, received in writing, less than 3 weeks in advance of the trip start date entitle the participant to a 75% refund or credit, less the administration fee.
  8. Participants who no-show for their trip, notify Sorcerer Lodge less than 72 hours ahead of the trip start, or who do not provide written notice of cancellation are not entitled to any refund or credit.
  9. Guest bedrooms accommodate up to three people. Guests are encouraged to book with a trusted friend or partner. Single participants will be required to share a room with other participants.
  10. If, ahead of the start date of a trip, Sorcerer Lodge cancels, decides not to operate, or is unable to operate the trip you are booked to participate in, you will be offered a full refund or credit.
  11. If, on or after the start date of a trip, circumstances arise which require Sorcerer Lodge to temporarily close or otherwise cease operating a trip that you are participant on, no refunds or credits will be offered.

Winter 2026/27 Full Lodge Reservations

WINTER 2026/27 FULL LODGE RESERVATIONS

  1. Full Lodge Booking Conditions & Timelines:
    1. To make an exclusive reservation for the whole lodge (15 guests):
      1. The Group Organizer must agree to the terms & conditions as presented here.
      2. To submit a Full Lodge Reservation, the Group Organizer must nominate at least 6 initial guests. The Full Lodge Reservation will be confirmed once all initial guests have registered and paid.
    2. The Registration Deadline will be September 1st, 2026.
    3. The Group Organizer agrees to fill the entire lodge (15 guest spaces) prior to the Registration Deadline.
    4. Sorcerer Lodge agrees to hold the entire lodge (15 guest spaces) exclusively for guests nominated by the Group Organizer until the Registration Deadline.
    5. Group Organizers who successfully fill the entire lodge before the Registration Deadline have the exclusive right to reserve the same trip for the following winter season. Sorcerer agrees to maintain this priority hold until the final day of the current season trip.
  2. Each Pays Own:
    1. Guests nominated by the Group Organizer will book directly with Sorcerer Lodge, and will be invoiced individually by Sorcerer Lodge.
    2. Each guest must complete their own registration form, and must agree to the Sorcerer Lodge Waiver as a condition of attending the trip.
    3. A guest space will be considered “sold” once the individual guest has registered and paid for their individual space.
    4. Individual guest spaces are subject to the Sorcerer Lodge Booking Terms & Conditions, and cannot be re-sold, transferred, or assigned to other individuals, including in circumstances where the Group Organizer may wish to change the membership or composition of their group.
  3. Responsibility for Empty Spaces:
    1. Should fewer than 12 guests (the “Minimum Commitment”) have completed the registration and payment process for the trip at the Registration Deadline, the Group Organizer agrees to be invoiced (at the listed “Non-refundable” rate + applicable taxes) and to pay for the remaining un-sold spaces, up to the Minimum Commitment.
  4. Release of Unsold Spaces:
    1. The Group Organizer agrees that, after the Registration Deadline, Sorcerer Lodge may offer all remaining un-sold spaces for sale to guests un-affiliated with the Group Organizer on a first-come first-served basis.
  5. Sale of Unsold Spaces:
    1. Sorcerer Lodge agrees to attempt to attempt to sell spaces that remain un-sold spaces after the Registration Deadline. Un-sold space will be listed on the Sorcerer Lodge website. The Group Organizer agrees that Sorcerer Lodge is not obligated to advertise un-sold spaces.
    2. Sorcerer Lodge agrees to credit (at the listed “non-refundable” rate) the Group Organizer the full value of any released spaces sold that fall within their Minimum Commitment.
    3. For the purpose of calculating a credit, spaces will be deemed sold in the following order:
      1. The three spaces beyond the Minimum Commitment for which the Group Organizer has no financial responsibility (spaces #13, 14 & 15).
      2. The remaining spaces falling within the Minimum Commitment (spaces #1 through #12).
    4. The Group Organizer agrees that the calculation of credit due from the sale of un-sold spaces will be made upon the start of the trip, and that no credit will be calculated or due before the start date of the trip.
    5. Credits resulting from the sale of unsold spaces may be maintained as credit notes to be applied against future trips, or returned to the Group Organizer, at the discretion of the Group Organizer.
  6. Cancellations by Nominated Guests:
    1. Sorcerer Lodge reserves the right to re-sell any individual spaces that are booked under the “Installment Option” booking terms & subsequently cancelled.
    2. Time permitting, and at the sole discretion of Sorcerer Lodge, the Group Organizer may be offered an opportunity to recruit a replacement guest for cancelled spaces.
